Pakistani Bazaar respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use pakistanibazaar.pk, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
You give us
- Account details — name, mobile number, email (optional) and password (stored encrypted).
- Order details — delivery address, city, area, order notes and the products you buy.
- Seller details — store name, business address, city and, if provided, CNIC for verification.
- Reviews and messages you send to us or post on the website.
Collected automatically
- Basic device and browser information, IP address and pages visited.
- Cookies that keep you logged in and remember your cart.
How we use it
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including sharing your name, phone and address with the seller and courier handling your package.
- To let sellers confirm Cash on Delivery orders by phone.
- To run your account, order history and wishlist.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, and to keep the platform secure.
- To improve our website and, if you agree, to send offers. You can opt out any time.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not collect card or bank details — orders are paid in cash on delivery.
- We do not show your phone number or address publicly.
Cookies
We use:
- Essential cookies — to keep you logged in and remember your cart.
- Analytics cookies — our own anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, time spent, device type and approximate country) so we can improve the website. These are not shared with anyone.
- Advertising cookies — see "Advertising" below.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features (like login and the cart) may stop working.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We show advertisements from Google AdSense to keep Pakistani Bazaar free to use.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- We may use the Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram) to measure how our ads perform and to show our products to people who visited this website. It records events such as viewing a product, adding to cart and placing an order (product IDs and order value — not your name, phone or address). You can control this in your Facebook ad preferences.
- Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Ads are clearly separated from our own content. We do not show ads on login, account, cart, checkout or seller pages.
Data security and retention
Passwords are encrypted and access to personal data is limited to people who need it. We keep order records as long as needed for support, accounting and legal purposes, and delete or anonymise data we no longer need.
